In this series, several universal symbols are combined to expand the synectic power of the relief sculpture. The Black Man Grove series of power and resilience adopts the form of the iconic peace symbol. The placement of the icon in the sculpture evokes the pineal eye illuminating awareness and intelligence associated with the innermost nature of the mind, Rigpa.
